As a North America Digital Brand Seasonal Activation Manager, you will play an integral role in defining the flow of storytelling for the Digital Brand team. In this role you will partner closely with key stakeholders across the Merchandising, Nike Direct & Brand organizations to gain insight into key seasonal priorities. As the seasonal lead you'll leverage the view of seasonal priorities, input by key stakeholders, and apply strategic thought to the inputs. Blending the art and science of all inputs to ensure we are delivering on brand and business objectives for the season. The result of your work will drive the development of an overarching seasonal plan that seamlessly weaves together a holistic narrative that will guide the collective NA Digital Brand team throughout a season.
In addition to the creation of overarching seasonal plans you'll also be responsible for developing a weekly view of how the seasonal plan will take shape across the full 13-week season. These views will be instrumental in guiding the digital platform and channels as they create their seasonal editorial calendars. Seasonal plans will also expose which priorities our global, geo and city partners will develop content for, developing a clear view of our team responsibilities in in the augmentation and creation of storytelling for each seasonal priority. This deeper view will also include fundamental details surrounding the revenue opportunity associated with all seasonal product assortments, ensuring we are leveraging seasonal buy plan data to inform weekly and seasonal focus.
As the full North America Digital Brand team navigates throughout a season your seasonal plans will be the guidepost to ensure all plans developed ladder back up to the overarching focus for the team. Playing a crucial role in the successful alignment between our team and the broader North America brand and business.
Partner to create seasonal & weekly strategic plans for North America Digital Brand.
Development of close relationships with key stakeholders across Brand, Merchandising, Nike Direct and DSM.
Provide directional resourcing guidance for the team. Including content creation needs, media budgets operational support. Developed through an art & science approach.
Delivery of seasonal MSP documents that provide the core fundamentals of the seasonal product assortment.
Socialization of seasonal plans into the NA Digital Brand team and out to key stakeholders across NDC, Merch, Brand, DSM and Global.
Develop & expand existing operational process across digital brand team, continuously driving integration and innovation.
Integrate into brand game plan & seasonal process by partnering with brand planning & category leads to align plans & priorities
Convey seasonal plans in a simple and beautiful way.
Drive ongoing maintenance of the seasonal plan to ensure it is proactively (and reactively) updated in alignment with continuously evolving plans.
Bachelors Degree is required
3-5 years of work experience in digital marketing
Strong understanding of Digital marketing across key channels including digital apps, email, .com experiences & paid media
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations on complex business issues required
Problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with creative teams.
Exceptionally strong analytical skills & comfort with getting your "hands dirty" diving deep into the numbers. Proven capability to use data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization required.
Strong understanding of digital analytics best practices and available data relevant to marketing optimization required
Previous experience managing a team is a plus
Masters degree (MBA/MSc etc) a plus
