WorldStrides is seeking a Digital Asset Manager who will be responsible for acquiring, cataloguing, managing, and protecting the organization's digital assets, which include videos, images, text, and marketing copy. This role will utilize and administer a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to efficiently organize and access these assets. This role collaborates with Creative, Marketing and Sales leaders within WorldStrides to develop its digital asset management strategy and vision. The role also includes creating, implementing, and regularly improving the organization's digital asset management platform, Content Hub.

With in-depth knowledge and understanding of workflow management, the Digital Asset Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of workflow content asset system for the organization. In this role, the Digital Asset Manager will collaborate with a team of internal and external stakeholders, including agencies, digital designers, photographers, copywriters, videographers, and partners in business unit marketing teams, legal, product, and sales teams.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the creation and evolution of digital asset management capabilities by developing the in-house roadmap focused on streamlining operations, optimized userflows, permissions, and maintaining best practice asset management.

  • Discovering ways to enhance automation of tagging and asset ingest

  • Designing and implementing taxonomy and metadata management strategies following industry best practices (SEO, ADA, automation, global); creating requirements and taking them to the market

  • Performing ingesting, organizing, general asset maintenance and management, as well as associated issue management, and curating daily in the DAM system

  • Performing digital asset lifecycle maintenance activities, such as archiving and asset expiration

  • Providing leadership on assigned project initiatives, such as photo rights management

  • Prioritizing the work, developing training materials, and making sure steady state productions are on target

  • Providing oversight and direction to the image workflow

  • Maintaining and contributing to standards and governance by keeping abreast of industry best practices

  • Creating solid candidates for the digital asset management roadmap by requesting suggestions and requirements from users of the DAM

  • Maintaining all company video/photography publishing to downstream collateral by working effectively together with the Creative team

  • Developing more skills and expertise in digital asset curation and syndication by being current with prevailing technologies in the digital world, and so be able to contribute to the evolution of new content formats

  • Serving as an expert for the Digital Asset Management system (DAM).
