Doane University, a liberal arts university with campuses located in Crete, Lincoln, and Omaha Location, invites applications for a Digital and Social Media Specialist on our Lincoln Campus. The Digital and Social Media Specialist will translate concepts into engaging content and visuals across various platforms. As our ideal candidate, you'll possess a deep understanding of the ever-evolving landscape of social media and digital platforms. Your toolkit should include skills in social media management, digital content creation, video production, and photography. From concept to execution, you'll be at the forefront of crafting our digital presence.

Travel between campuses is required along with flexibility for occasional travel to specific locations for photo shoots, video shoots, or other content creation activities.

FLSA Hourly (Non-exempt) Minimum Required Education/Training Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience considered Minimum Required Experience (Years) 2 years Minimum Experience Description

• At least 2 years of social media management and 1-year digital management

• Experience with Sprout Social, Google Ads, Google Analytics, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.)

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Understanding of marketing, video, photography, social media, analytics, corporate identity, advertisements, and social media campaign implementation

• Complete functional knowledge of Google Ads and Analytics, industry-standard graphic design software packages for layout, illustration, and photo manipulation including all Adobe Creative Suite applications and Microsoft Office products

• Ability to demonstrate creative capabilities through skillful layout of content, graphic elements, and type and demonstrate advanced proficiency in social media and digital campaign management

• Demonstrable photography and video skills

• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality

• Proficiency in copywriting, proofreading, campaign management

• Ability to manage time and multiple projects within budget, interact with vendors
