This position is responsible for leading digital and business analytics across both marketing and client experience. This includes tagging current and future state CNR digital properties to enable data gathering on digital interactions. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for developing success metrics for all campaigns (outbound calling, SEO/SEM, Social Media, display, and direct marketing), tracking performance against goals, and ongoing reporting. The analytics leader will also drive business intelligence insights by analyzing business trends such as channel, FA, and BD performance over time to identify opportunities to grow new partners as well as share of wallet with existing partners. Using survey data along with digital interaction data, the analytics lead will partner with AX/CX journey owners and digital product partners to identify and suggest journey enhancements. The successful candidate must work across various functional areas while exercising considerable latitude in determining appropriate solutions to meet goals and objectives.
Own the tagging of current and future state digital properties across pre and post auth CNR. Partner with technology to tag pages and report usage/interaction data to understand engagement.
Partner with broader marketing organization to understand both acquisition and engagement campaigns to develop appropriate success metrics. Track and report performance with specific focus on AUM and relationship attribution by campaign.
Through data analysis, suggest and design A/B testing across multiple channels. Define success metrics within champion/challenger campaigns.
Partner with Digital Product and Journey owners to understand AX/CX journey specific performance and opportunities to improve. Identify mechanisms to measure and report against key moments of truth.
Work with external partners and data sources to identify ways to improve targeting efficiency. Partner across broader marketing organization to propose targeting criteria and campaign execution.
Present marketing initiatives to a senior management audience to build consensus and buy-in. Possesses an ability to exert influence on strategic initiatives.
Serve as a consultant and subject matter expert in digital, campaign and business analytics.
Work with internal compliance and operations team to maintain compliance of City National Rochdale marketing materials and communications.
Job Skills and Knowledge
10 years of experience working in a fast-paced marketing environment, specifically in financial services across broad range of channels inclusive of digital channels, social media, PR/advertising and branding
Direct experience tagging and analyzing engagement with digital experiences.
Experience in selling or marketing to high net worth advisors and clients.
Direct knowledge of investment management, wealth management, or traditional retail banking. Knowledge of Broker dealer/RIA environment a plus.
Strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills are required
An understanding of regulatory issues surrounding the marketing of investments and mutual funds is required
Comprehensive and extensive understanding of principles, concepts and industry practices
*Minimum 6 years digital marketing and analytics in investment management or similar financial services experience
*Minimum of 6 year general marketing experience required
*Bachelor degree required
