Overview of the Role
Reporting to the Head of Decision Management for Retail Bank and Mortgage, the Digital Analytics Leader is responsible for developing and executing the analytical roadmap for digital acquisition strategy supporting the Retail Bank and Mortgage lines of business. This role will lead a team focused on delivering against the Retail Bank and Mortgage goals of driving new Bank and Mortgage clients through the digital channel, getting more engaged customers using our digital capabilities, delivering the right marketing offers to clients and ensuring the right data quality and controls are in place. A strong ability to successfully manage relationships with senior leadership as well as create and manage partnerships across all lines of business is critical for success.
Develop the foundational layer of data and analytics to support the digital strategy for the Retail Bank and Mortgage lines of business across the digital funnel.
Leverage both internal data and a deep knowledge of the digital experience industry trends to develop incremental insights to drive the acquisition of new Citi clients.
Deliver a funnel analytics solution across Retail Bank and Mortgage product acquisition to identify potential gaps in performance.
Drive the Lead Aggregator strategy with a data driven approach to create new Mortgage and Bank relationships from partner sites
Develop a test and learn environment to evaluate new data sources, models and technologies to identify opportunities to enhance decision logic.
Evaluate investments in Digital technology to determine payback on investment, impact on experience and potential growth opportunity
Deliver timely reporting and insights around digital performance.
Effectively managing the capacity of the team to delivering against the requests for analytical support
This candidate will partner across multiple groups including Marketing, IT, Global Functions, Product and Finance to deliver against the Digital Acquisition targets. Experience in leading a team in a large matrix environment is required.
This role will be a critical player in delivering against the Digital Acquisition targets with an impact of potentially $2-3 Billion in balance growth.
Deliver clear and concise messaging around performance to leaders across the Retail Bank and Mortgage
Interact with senior management team including Retail Bank and Mortgage Leadership, Product heads, Global Function leaders and Marketing.
Manage a team of 10+ analysts and offshore resources to deliver against the goals
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Talent Management: Drive Talent Development efforts for the business ensuring optimal mobility, retention and development of resources including developing next gen talent strategy for Digital Analytics.
Communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders
Manage the project planning effectively - define scope, direct and prioritize resources, deliver on time and generate the best outcome.
Lead teams across geographic locations; coaching and developing team members; prioritizing the key projects to deliver business results.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to data security.
Role will interact with the Modeling team, Model Risk Management and Internal Audit Teams to ensure compliance across all modeling activities.
Education & Experience
15+ years of experience including 10+ years of managerial /operational experience
12+ years of experience in business analytics
Experience applying a variety of advanced analytical tools and methods to business challenges
8+ years of experience managing large analytic teams
Experience attracting top analytic talent
Demonstrated ability to set strategy/direction and follow through on execution while maintaining high levels of quality
Proven track record of exceeding performance expectations and delivering results
Ability to manage, coach and mentor leaders and team members
Master's degree or equivalent preferred
