TEGNA seeks Digital Ad Operations Specialists in Phoenix, AZ to support local and national campaign fulfillment our OTT business, Premion. The ideal candidate will work exclusively with TEGNA properties and the PREMION team based out of NYC to facilitate OTT advertising campaigns from order entry through campaign management and billing.

Digital Ad Operations Specialists will master the digital workflow between business units and ad operations to provide end-to-end campaign fulfillment. This position is responsible for ensuring campaigns and creative are executed on-time, accurately, and are monitored for delivery and key performance indicators.

Detailed training is also provided to the candidate selected.

Responsibilities include:

  • Business Unit / Digital Ad Ops Workflow: Digital Ad Operations Specialists must master the digital workflow that connects the business units they support and the order management systems and ad servers we maintain to fulfill buys across the OTT ad networks.

  • Order Quality Checks: Inputs detailed information through workflow system where required and identifies missing components needed to expedite campaign setup.

  • Campaign Scheduling and Delivery: Must fully understand all aspects of the ad servers and how to appropriately schedule campaigns. Must follow delivery guidelines and tactics to ensure campaign delivery.

  • Urgent Support: Must provide urgent support to broadcast stations and Premion team for campaign requested needs.

  • Communication and Reporting: Send daily reports to PREMION stakeholders, communicate technical information and processes, email all contacts within in a timely fashion, and monitor email inbox consistently. Must be able to clearly communicate technical and detailed information across business units and teams promptly.

  • Time Management/Deadlines: Must work together with corresponding teams to adhere to deadlines/expectations of the fulfillment process.

  • Customer Service: Interaction with internal teams, vendors, and stations requires a successful candidate to possess a positive, customer-friendly attitude while working through day-to-day operations.

  • Management: This role will be supported by Ad Operations Coordinators. Additional functions may include limited People Management tasks.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years of working experience in ad serving platforms or ad trafficking is ideal.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or technical related discipline required. 3-5 years of practical work experience in digital technology or advertising can be substituted for college education.

  • Demonstrated ability to function in a technical role.

  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at once.

  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Quick, adaptive learner who will develop expertise in digital workflow and ad serving systems.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to clearly convey technical and complex information through written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to react to change productively.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (proficient-to-advanced skillset in Excel is a must.)

  • Salesforce experience a plus.
