The Epsilon Data Practice has industry leading data, used to uncover insights for our breadth of clients and develop custom audiences for targeted, omni-channel marketing programs. The Lead, Digital Activation will be responsible for driving revenue for our digital data product offering. This candidate will have the opportunity to use some of the most unique data in the industry to develop and execute multi-channel solutions with all leading digital platforms, including programmatic partners (Google, MediaMath, The Trade Desk etc.), Data Management Platforms (Adobe, Salesforce Audience Studio and Neustar) and social networks (Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter). This position includes a quarterly incentive component based on specific selling objectives as determined by the SVP of Data Sales.
In this client-facing role, there is also the opportunity to evolve our industry leading product solution and positioning to maximize performance for clients. The role requires a experienced communicator who is able to clearly understand client needs and effectively provide solutions to help achieve them. A successful candidate must have demonstrated experience working in a matrixed role with multiple direct and in-direct reporting responsibilities, as well as possess acute knowledge and experience of the digital marketing ecosystem.
Business development Works across markets to identify top client, agency and prospect opportunities. Supports development of client presentations, proposals and campaign results. Manages the opportunity pipeline and reports on status.
Be the product knowledge expert Act as lead resource for sales and Client Services for the online space, platform partners, programmatic media, and execution.
Product & marketing Leverage client feedback and program results to work with Product Management on evolution recommendations, marketing materials and case studies. Help train sales teams on best client approach and program recommendations.
Market & competition expert Build a communication strategy for market and competitive knowledge to disseminate to Product Management and Sales teams. Identify gaps and opportunities with recommendations for Product Management to deliver product enhancement or development to drive business growth.
Cross-functional interaction - Efficiently & effectively manage cross-functional teams for client programs.
Develop sales pipeline, revenue goals and track success.
Develop strong relationships with advanced digital solutions, sales, client services, IT, analytics and other Epsilon partners.
Develop sales reference materials and process documentation for products.
Recommend product enhancements, changes and new developments based on monitoring competitive activity and identifying product gaps and customer needs.
Work with Product Management on pricing strategies based on market information, revenue opportunity and customer feedback.
Undergraduate degree in business, graduate degree a plus
Minimum 5 years of data driven experience in the digital marketing industry
Strong knowledge and experience with the digital marketing ecosystem across DSPs, DMPs and Social platforms
Exceptional communication & presentation skills.
Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving revenue and operational targets.
Organization and project mgmt skills, including effective cross-functional management skills.
Problem solving skills strong tactical skills, building towards strategic problem-solving
Able to prioritize work, and shifting priorities as needed to meet aggressive deadlines and milestones.
High levels of effectiveness with Excel and PowerPoint
