We're seeking a Digital Activation Associate to join our Media Activation team in New York. The Digital Activation Associate is a pivotal member of the team, helping to support and manage media activation plans and strategies across clients and brands. What you'll do:

  • Help manage the day to day media planning & buying responsibilities across multiple clients

  • Assist the associate director and group director to develop media strategies and plans that align with campaign objectives inclusive of research, developing RFPs, and reviewing proposals

  • Manage and train media assistants and interns

  • Own operation task such as media billing, invoice review, campaign trafficking, and insertion order details

  • Serve as primary point of contact for media vendors for quality assurance and regular optimizations

  • Partner with analytics team to maintain reporting and conduct ad hoc analysis when needed

  • Collaborate with search, social, and PR teams on projects as needed.

What you should bring to the table:

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant work experience in an advertising/PR/media agency as necessary

  • 1+ years' experience on a digital media buying/management team a must

  • Additional experience in print, outdoor, tv is a plus

  • Familiarity with healthcare is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Team player with a positive attitude

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage up and down

  • Analytical skills, familiarity with media math and analysis software (excel, tableau, etc.)

  • Natural curiosity about digital media

VIEW JOBS 10/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-13T00:00 Job Description The role of the Senior Associate is to be the day-to-day steward on media issues for assigned brands, including accurate budget control and flow of media activity. You will be required to develop and maintain a strong knowledge of their clients' business and apply their media understanding accordingly to help deliver against the clients' needs/objectives. You will work closely with the Managers in the development and communication of all media recommendations. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist the Manager in development of communication plan options and recommendations * Maintain accurate budget control and flow of media activity, and update client on timely/consistent basis * Demonstrate strong understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals (reach/frequency) * Demonstrate proficiency with systems/tools (DV 360, Prisma/Media Ocean, comScore) * Gather and analyze appropriate research to provide sound, strategic, consumer-insights driven media recommendations * Establish collaborative, productive working relationship with implementation teams to ensure media strategies are being delivered and brand goals/client needs are being met * Ensure proper execution of communication plans by monitoring buys/schedules * Develop strong working relationship with partner agencies (where/when applicable), helping create a seamless communications process * Demonstrate creativity and agility when problem solving * Deliver POVs/position papers on key client issues and/or client opportunities * Prepare media authorizations per approved plans/project requests * Prepare & cascade buying specifications upon client authorizations * Timely delivery of all work * Work with the Manager on establishing PMP goals * Coach and train Associates, including * Proper/effective level of delegation * Checking work for accuracy * Teaching media fundamentals and activation of Connections College learnings * Demonstrate professional, "lead by example" management style * Assist in the evaluation of Associates during PMP process Moxie New York NY
