This posting will remain open to generate a pool of qualified student applicants for available positions during the semester

• Lead group learning sessions one to two times a week

• Assists students with specific course-related concepts and problems

• Provide feedback to instructor on student performance and participation in learning sessions

• Facilitates development of effective, related study skills

• Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with supervisor

• May consult with faculty for course resources, guidance, and direction

• Works approximately 5 to 10 hours per week depending on the number of sessions led

• Develop and maintain relationships with professor and student participants

Required Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes

• Must have completed MATH 3335 with an A

• Must be dependable and professional

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and listen effectively while working closely with others

• Ability to work and stay on task with minimal supervision

• Experience in the Math Lab or other tutoring experience
