The Dietitian supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality providing nutrition care services for in-patients and out-patients including nutrition screening, assessment, intervention, counseling, meal planning & education. Is an active member of the Nutrition Support Team.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics plus current registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
Must be CNSC (Certified Nutrition Support Clinician) or obtain within two years of hire
Experience in teaching a wide variety of diets including but not limited to diabetes, cardiac rehab, obesity, renal disease and others as needed in addition to experience in parenteral and enteral nutrition support
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred
Must pass pre-employment screening
