We are hiring for the following Dietitian positions in the Nutrition Services Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK:

Dietitian

  • Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Regular, 40 Hours Per Week, Day Shift
  • $5,000 Hiring Bonus eligibility for external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment

Dietitian

  • Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Temporary, 40 Hours Per Week, Day Shift (No bonus eligibility)

Dietitian

  • Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Regular, 0.4 Hours Per Week, Day Shift (No bonus eligibility)

Assessment of medical nutrition therapy needs based upon the patient's medical diagnosis, laboratory values, anthropometric measures, medications, age-specific requirements, and other co-morbidity factors identified by the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or other members of the health care team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Food and Nutrition or related field. And

  • Coursework/Training: Successful completion of a dietetic internship program. And

  • Coursework/Training: Continuing education in accordance with policies determined by the Commission for Dietetic Registration for maintenance of registered status.

  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Alaska Dietitian License Or

  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Alaska Nutritionist License

  • Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian

  • Commission on Dietetic Registration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of Clinical Experience.
