Dietitian Nutritionist I Part Time

Sodexo is seeking a part time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at The University of Texas Medical Branch. This position will be split between the UTMB Angleton Danbury Campus , located in Angleton, TX and UTMB Clearlake Campus located in Webster, TX. Position will work 24 hours per week with excellent benefits.

Position offers $2,000 Sign-On Bonus $2,000 retention Accrue vacation, sick time and personal days Health Benefits and Paid Time Off Available Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal Money toward continuing education events Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually The Registered Dietitian will report to the system Clinical Nutrition Manager. The ideal candidate will: Be a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian, experience preferred; perform nutrition-focused physical exams, provide nutrition support recommendations and nutrition education as needed; monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes on an ongoing basis; participate in departmental, clinical, and other meetings related to areas of practice; utilize electronic medical records (experience with Epic Electronic System preferred) within the practice environment and be familiar with the Nutrition Care Process; have a strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction results and driving process improvement activities.

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
