The Dietary Associate ensures that the dietary needs of clients and residents of Bailey-Boushay are met by serving meals, communicating residents' and clients' needs to the Chef and Dietitian, and assisting in the preparation of meals.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Also required are: food service training or experience, with a working knowledge of diets and nutrition.

  • An understanding of basic hospital terminology.

  • Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to lift, push, and stand for an extended period of time.

  • A Washington State Food Handlers Permit is required.
