Clinical Direct Support Professional

Would you like to make a difference in someone's life? Based in community, vocational or in-home settings, and working closely with our clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans, this role provides assistance and strategies to the individuals we serve to live as independently as possible.

  • Provide assistance with daily activities that range from socialization and behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.

  • Accurately documents progress and activity; reviews records and logs to stay up-to-date with changes in service plans.

  • Provide clinical expertise which may include knowledge for specialized populations, such as intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injury, emotional or behavioral disability, or expertise in special disciplines such as behavioral support, early intervention, crisis intervention or others.

  • May accompany individuals we serve to medical appointments; relay orders and information to and from medical providers. Travel between sites, to individual's homes and may accompany them into the community.


  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Six months of experience in human services preferred

  • Must be 18 years of age

  • Valid driver's license in good standing

  • States may have additional requirement

Job Overview/Summary The Assistant Facility Manager has responsibility for the facility management discipline within designated sites and sometimes expanding into an area or region. In this role, you will support the Sr. Facilities Manager by overseeing building operations, program compliance, and day-to-day management of various facility locations while ensuring the delivery of high levels of customer service. This includes ensuring the facilities are in good condition and support the daily needs of our employees through: long term capital planning, managing third party providers (building management, security, janitorial, etc.) and overseeing expense, maintenance, and construction projects. Key Responsibilities You will oversee other key managed services in the Pleasanton Campus and Oakland offices including 60%: * Food Services * Shipping, Receiving, and Mail Room services * Shredding Services * Office Supplies * Document Storage Services Support the Sr. Facilities Manager in the management of other corporate facilities as needed, both domestic and international which may exceed 15 sites and 1 million square feet of administrative office space. 20% Assist the Sr. Facilities Manager to prepare and manage facility related budgets, develop and support implementation of cost savings initiatives, and identify and implement process improvement opportunities for all managed facilities. This includes the long and short range capital plans as well as the operating budgets for each facility. 10%. Assist to identify, plan and execute capital and facility improvement projects. Ensuring the projects meet the identified stakeholder objectives while staying within approved budgets. 10% Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required * Customer-oriented with strong customer service skills * Superior client relationship management skills * Ability to plan and manage budgets totaling $5-10M * Strong communication skills with ability to communicate and work across all levels of the organization. * Demonstrate ability to think critically and problem solve * Ability to successfully work as part of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong project management skills * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Strong writing skills and ability to communicate efficiently with customers, stakeholders and vendors. * Proficient in MS Office * BS/BA * 5-7 years of relevant work experience * Shipping & Receiving management experience preferred * A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a leadership position supporting facilities, building operations, or experience in property management managing large or multi-site locations Required Education More about Finance Ready to keep learning?
