Dietary Aide/Asst

Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE: To wash dishes by hand and/or machine; keep work area clean; set-up and clean other food service areas; stock inventory; and any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform sanitation duties.
• CQI.
• Follow all department and safety rules.
• Team work.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: None.

EXPERIENCE: One-year dishwashing experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Correctable vision and hearing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach above shoulders.
• Ability to tolerate heat, steam, and chemicals.
• Ability to lift 30 pound items.
