Providence is calling a Dietary Aide (Transitional Care, Evening Shift, 0.40 FTE) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Have direct communication with residents regarding meal preferences and diets.

  • Assist the staff dietitian in planning menus and food production.

  • Accurately calculate therapeutic diet restrictions and check the accuracy of resident trays at mealtimes.

  • Assist residents with eating and drinking.

  • Provide exceptional customer service.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Three (3) months customer service or dining services experience.

  • Current Food Handlers Card in Washington State

  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Basic computer literacy

Therapeutic Associates specializes in orthopedics and manual therapy and pride ourselves on our one-on-one patient care and strong relationships with referral sources. Duties & Responsibilities: The Physical Therapy Aide provides assistance to and takes direction from the Physical Therapist(s) and/or Physical Therapist Assistant(s) by performing treatment-related and/or patient-related tasks as appropriate. * Interacts courteously and effectively with patients, families, clinic staff, and all other customers. * Performs treatment-related tasks (such as ice or heat application) as appropriate and allowed by state law, under the supervision of PT or PTA. * Performs patient-related tasks (such as pre-treatment exercise) as appropriate and allowed by state law, under the supervision of PT or PTA. * Conducts routine cleaning and maintenance of clinic to include, but not limited to, laundry, treatment area clean-up, and equipment clean-up. * Understands and follows correct procedures for handling biohazardous materials. * Maintains confidentiality of all patient demographic, medical, company and other information.
