The Dietary Aide, an essential part of patient care, supports the health, welfare, and recovery of our patients at Schuyler Hospital through administering to their dietary needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assembly and delivery of patient meals

• Proper washing and sanitizing of all eating ware, using a dish machine, while also maintaining a clean and sanitized work area

• Provide exceptional food and service to all patients, residents, guests and employees, while department standards are maintained while meeting all regulatory requirements put forth by local, state and federal agencies

Required Skills and Experience:

• HS Diploma or equivalent experience
• 1 year of experience in food service

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, pushing, pulling and reaching.

• May be exposed to areas of extreme heat or cold. Primary location may include loud noises, wet and slippery conditions, exposure to sharp objects

Location and Shift Requirements:

• Onsite at Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls

• Full Time

• 6am

• 745pm

• 40 Hours as Scheduled

Pay Range Disclosure:

• $16.00 to $16.94 per hour
