Pay: Starting at $18.00/hr

Availability: Part Time, Day Shift

WE ARE SEEKING A DIET TECHNICIAN who will be responsible for the day to day assessment of all aspects of residents at moderate and low nutritional risk.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Screen, assess, and educate residents at moderate and low nutritional risk for diet and medical nutrition therapy

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of food service & long-term care regulations in MA

• Work collaboratively with residents and families on food preferences

• Observe food intake and report progress and dietary problems

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Applicant should have or currently be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelor's degree in related field, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge within the field.

• 1-3 years in a long-term care or food service setting preferred.
