WE ARE SEEKING A DIET TECHNICIAN who will be responsible for the day to day assessment of all aspects of residents at moderate and low nutritional risk.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Screen, assess, and educate residents at moderate and low nutritional risk for diet and medical nutrition therapy
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of food service & long-term care regulations in MA
Work collaboratively with residents and families on food preferences
Observe food intake and report progress and dietary problems
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant should have or currently be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelor's degree in related field, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge within the field.
1-3 years in a long-term care or food service setting preferred.
