POSITIONSUMMARY: Under close supervision, the
Diet Clerk assists the Clinical Dietitians in ensuring that patients receivecorrect meals and nourishment in accordance with diet orders and individualmenu selections. Maintains tally of menu items.
Preferred: Two year experience as Food Service Asst. in lieu of education is acceptable
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: College level courses desirable.
Minimum: Basic nutrition and menu planning forregular and modified diets.
General clerical and math skills. Read, write andspeak English proficiently
Preferred: Basic food service production and goodhandling techniques.
