A well-established truck repair facility is urgently hiring several experienced level A and B Diesel Truck Mechanics for their shop in West Babylon, NY. In business for over 40 years, you will join an elite team of mechanics diagnosing and performing bumper to bumper repair and maintenance to a variety of trucks and trailers (i.e.

International, Volvo, Mitsubishi, Isuzu etc.); and engine repair and rebuilding. While this is primarily a shop role, Mechanics will work in the field as required.

Successful Heavy Truck Technicians will have:
At least 3 years truck repair experience, preferably in a dealership or leasing environment
ASE Certifications, preferred, but not required
Own tools
Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Those with a valid CDL is considered a strong asset

All truck mechanics must submit to a pre-employment background check (criminal, drug, driving).

$20.00 - $35.00/hr. Benefits after 30 day probationary period (health, vision) + Pension

  • PTO ( 6 Federal Holidays, Vacation, 6 Sick days) + Boot Allowance + Coveralls Provided and Cleaned + Ongoing Paid Training.
    Days and Afternoons, Monday
  • Friday. OT after 40 hours. Days, 7:00am

  • 2:30pm Afternoons, 1:30pm

  • 10:00pm
