Technical Professionals Group provides validation, durability, mileage accumulation and quality testing services for vehicle and mechanized equipment projects and programs in the engineering, R&D, quality control and quality assurance sectors of the automotive industry.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and safe Shop Foreman to facilitate support with technicians, test vehicles and their systems for a manufacturer and marketer of medium and heavy trucks in Commerce City, CO

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Delegate work tasks to technicians and ensure timely completion of projects.

• Coordinate with the local engineering team to address issues found during shop operations.

• Capture and highlight specific issues that require documentation by engineers.

• Act as the safety liaison for the shop, ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols.

• Oversee the completion and accuracy of all First Article Inspection (FAI) documents.

• Serve as the primary contact for DOT and local fleet safety issues.

• Provide technical assistance and support to technician staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Diesel Technician/Mechanic

• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a shop environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols, with experience in implementing safety measures.

• Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) procedures and documentation.

• CDL preferred, but not required.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical, Safety and Environmental Job Requirements

• Standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, carrying and moving items of up to 50 lbs and more

• Ability to perform essential job functions in an environment with varied noise levels

• The environment may be dusty, noisy and open to interior temperature changes
