Responsibilities for a Diesel Mechanic/Technician
Read, understand, and perform repair orders as needed
Inspect vehicle components for reuse or replacement
Operate diagnostic equipment to properly identify the cause of the complaint
Locate and follow the proper diagnostic information to conduct tests and measurements
Diagnose electrical problems
Requirements for a Diesel Mechanic
Previous Diesel Mechanic/Technician training or diesel mechanic work experience
Willingness to learn and grow
Valid driver's license or CDL
Must own your own tools
