Additional duties include the following:

  • Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems

  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis

  • Demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment for customers

  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts

  • Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

  • 1-2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment; or trade school graduate

  • Must own tools applicable to position

  • Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams

  • Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsible for service documentation

  • Occasional travel to customer sites

  • Demonstrate equipment for customers

  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts

  • Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years of experience with repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment

  • Intermediate diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems

  • Report machine condition to Management

  • Perform routine repairs on Tools with some supervision

Depending on the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, they will be hired into an entry (C) level, intermediate (B) level or expert (A) level job and pay scale. * Responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks and/or forklifts * Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documents required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations * Interpret work orders and technical manuals * Monitor and maintain applicable equipment safety items * Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the work meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations * If qualified, diagnose and repair engine electronics and telematics, exhaust and aftertreatment systems * If qualified, maintain and perform minor repairs on engines, transmissions, collision avoidance systems, a/c systems, air and brake systems, starting and fueling systems, cooling systems, hydraulic systems and steering and suspension components * If qualified, maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete minor and major repairs on engine electronics and telematics, vehicle coupling systems, etc. * Regular attendance is required. * This is not an all-inclusive list of job requirements and/or duties and may not contain all mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances.
