Schedule: Monday - Friday, 0700-0400

Rate: $19-27/hour DOE

Objective:

Bulk Transport Company, East is looking for a Diesel Mechanic at our Medina location. This job consists of maintaining diesel equipment by regularly conducting inspections, preventive maintenance requirements, correcting deficiencies, and keeping complete and accurate records of repairs.

What does a normal day look like?

• Complete electronic repair orders and other required documents

• Perform DOT Inspections

• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly shop

• Perform routine maintenance/repairs for commercial semi-trailers and diesel trucks

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues

• Fabricate and weld parts as needed

• Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently

• Consistently keep your work area clean and organized

• Other duties as assigned

• Note: These are the major functions and accountabilities required of the position and are the predominant criteria by which performance will be assessed.

Below are preferred, but not required:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role

• Welding/fabrication experience

• Electrical experience

• Diesel Engine experience
