Vector Fleet Management is seeking a EVT Diesel/Fire Truck Mechanic to join our team in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area. If you have at least three years of proven EVT Diesel/Fire Truck Mechanic experience or have graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics, Vector Fleet Management wants to hear from you! CDL "A or B" is a real plus!

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• EVT Diesel/Fire Truck Mechanic should have a minimum of three years hands-on experience working on fire trucks and/or ambulances

• EVT Certification a huge plus - or willingness to achieve certification after hire

• Must have the ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel engines and emergency apparatus

• EVT Diesel/Fire Truck Mechanic must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use

• Willingness and ability to advance technical training and certification in emergency vehicle repair

• Complete set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use

• Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check

• Trade School Certificates a plus

• EVT Diesel/Fire Truck Mechanic with OEM training and/or ASE certifications are highly desirable
