Thisis an exciting opportunity in San Antonio, TX for an Engine Field ServiceTechnician. Cummins North America is where you can work on industry leadingengine technology such as 40hp to 2500 hp engines or onan gensets.
An Extraordinary Cummins Technician
Embraces new technology for diagnostics and data gathering.
Focuses on a high level of customer service and communications.
Looks to develop their skill set and product knowledge through classroom, hands-on, and virtual training.
Mentors and coaches junior technicians.

Required Education, Licenses orCertifications
High School diploma/GED or relevant experience for the position.
Must have a valid Texas or Oklahoma driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Able to fully use all required
Cummins service tools including Insite, EDS, Quick Serve On Line.
Capable of developing collaborativeworking relationships.
Able to identify and communicateopportunities for work process improvements.
Abilityto carry out full diagnostics using Cummins diagnostic tools on differentproduct types without supervision.
Indepth mechanical repair and maintenance capability to carry out external enginerepairs including fuel system components without supervision
Abilityto develop and maintain productive customer relationships and educatingcustomers on operations and maintenance of products
Abilityto identify and up sell further service and repair opportunities
All driversoperating a company vehicle must be at least 21 years old; if the truck is acommercial motor vehicle per FMCSA regulation, the driver is required to holdor able to obtain a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL*).

Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate withexperience.
