Diesel And Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Houston, TX

Turner Industries Group is looking for an experienced Diesel and Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the Houston, TX area. The successful candidate will have a background working on large diesel engines - Cat, Cummins, Detroit - as well as experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems on heavy equipment such as cranes and dirt moving machinery, and dump beds. This is a long-term position based at our campus in Houston with:

• 40 Hours+

• Overtime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half

• Tadano, Grove, or Liebherr certification preferred

The successful candidate will be responsible for entering various petrochemical sites and performing repairs on existing equipment, primarily cranes. This will require a TWIC card, the ability to pass a background check, and attend HASC for training requirements to enter facilities. It will also require a valid Driver's License to drive a company repair truck.

Per diem and relocation is not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Houston metro area.
