Our Hemodialysis RN's:
Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and overall management of care for the Acute and Chronic Dialysis patient population
Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loves ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.
What you'll bring:
Passion for Dialysis Nursing
1+ Years of RN experience working in the Acute and Chronic Dialysis areas
1+ Years of acute care RN experience strongly preferred
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS); Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred

The Outpatient Dialysis Center at St.
Catherine of Siena provides comprehensive services six days a week, from 5:00 AM to midnight. The center offers 15 chairs and staff rotate on four shift schedules.
The center is equipped for single use dialysis and an isolation room to accommodate Hepatitis Positive B Antigen patients--only unit of its kind in Suffolk County. The center is affiliated with nine major transplant centers for kidney, pancreas, liver and heart. In addition to Chronic Outpatient Dialysis services, St.
Catherine's also provides Dialysis services to our Acute Inpatient population. Our nurses, physicians, and support staff are devoted to providing advanced health care in an environment of compassion to our patients, their families and our community.
