Responsibilities

Proficient in performing quality diagnostic procedures in compliance with physician's orders, department policies & procedures.

  • Sonographer is competent scanning with any department machine, completing exams within the department, portable exams, and OR procedures.

  • Responsible for safe operation of various ultrasound scanning devices.

  • Competency in all exams including but not limited to abdominal, OB/gyn., small parts, and vascular.

  • Performs procedures in accurate, timely, cost effective manner.

  • Proficient in assisting the radiologist in invasive procedures.

  • Knowledgeable of the supplies needed for various invasive procedures and proficient in organizing and setting up these supplies for the radiologist.

  • Maintains a clean and orderly procedural area.

  • Understands equipment function, US physics, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and scanning techniques/protocols.

Education

  • Associate degree from an accredited School of Ultrasound (2 year minimum); or

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology Technology, and graduate of a School of Ultrasound (2 year program); or

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology Technology and ARDMS registered or registry eligible. (Must be RVT registered w/in 3 months of hire date)

Position Description The Lead Technical Diagnostic Support Representative must strive to deliver superior technical training classes, diagnostic phone support and the ability to handle all aspects of the part ordering process. Main Responsibilities * Develop and deliver technical training presentations either at the training facility in Indianapolis or in the markets. * Provide technical support for internal programs as needed. * Support other team initiatives like calling on estimates, researching missing parts and creating warranty calls. * Provide timely and effective technical solutions and guidance over the phone to internal and external customer issues in a fast-paced environment. * Provide parts ordering assistance to Smart Care technicians as required. * Process submitted Technician issues received via phone, email, and other electronic means * Properly record and document issues according to company standards; maintain equipment-related technical proficiency; attain specified metric targets. * Research solutions as required; effectively learn and use computer-based tools Works a standard shift but may occasionally be asked to work a different shift. Weekends and on-call duty may be required. Position Requirements * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds * Ability to climb on ladders up to 12 steps * Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including some weekends Qualifications Basic: * High school diploma or GED * Minimum 3 years successful experience as a commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration or HVAC technician or equivalent training/education experience in the mechanical repair industry * Basic Windows based computer skills Preferred: * Excellent organizational skills * Microsoft Office Proficiency * SAP CRM knowledge preferred but not required * Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, office-based environment with a willingness to adapt to changing customers' needs and expectations * 1+ years previous leadership experience * Strong customer service skills / experience About Smart Care Equipment Solutions: Join the industry's largest independent service company specializing in preventive and round-the-clock service, repairs and parts for commercial cooking, refrigeration and warewashing equipment.
