Work Schedule:

80% FTE, day shift. Monday

  • Friday with staggered start times 7:30AM - 8:45AM and end times 4:00 - 5:15PM. Evening, weekend call and holiday shift rotation required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Radiologic Tech

  • Float to:
  • Perform imaging on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.

  • Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

  • Learn and adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Education:

Minimum

  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

Work Experience:

Minimum

  • Previous healthcare experience.

Preferred

  • Two (2) years clinical experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

  • Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License.

  • CPR certification required within three months of hire.

  • If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role, Bone Mineral Densitometry certification within 30 months of hire.

Preferred -

  • Radiology certification.

  • If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role: ARRT Bone Densitometry Technologist (BD) or ISCD Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) within 1 year of completing orientation.

Eastpark Medical Center

  • UW Health's new state-of-the-art ambulatory facility will transform the patient experience and offer cutting-edge proton therapy. This 469,000-square-foot ambulatory facility will house many specialties, including women's complex care, adult cancer care, advanced imaging and laboratory services and innovative clinical trials. It will be located across from East Madison Hospital on Eastpark Blvd. and is slated to open in fall 2024.
