Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Ultrasound Department at Baptist Oakleaf A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is responsible for uses imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images of the bodies organs and tissue. This is a PRN position with various shifts.
As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for:
Performing high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
Promoting good will among co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
Staying compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
Identifing, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
All must pass certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 18 months of hire.
