Diagnostic Medical Sonographer | Monticello Hospital

Find your purpose by joining our team as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer!

Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages utilizing specialized ultrasound equipment to provide diagnostic results for the purpose of patient care.

Schedule:

• Casual

• On call weekday evenings and every 6th weekend

• Occasional 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. shift for vacation coverage

• Rotating holidays

Qualifications:

• Registered in diagnostic medical sonography in the specialty(ies) as appropriate. Registry to be obtained within one year.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.

• Previous sonography experience preferred.

• Ability to use independent judgment to acquire optimum diagnostic information.

• Effective knowledge of sonographic procedures and equipment.

• High degree of knowledge in anatomy and physiology required.

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

• 25-bed critical access hospital including Birthing Center, Medical/Surgical Unit, Pediatrics, and ICU

• 10-bed Geriatric Behavorial Health Unit.

• Extensive Outpatient Services: Level IV Emergency Department with ambulance service, Heart Care, Surgical Services, Sleep Center, Diabetes & Nutrition Education, Integrated Behavioral Health, Vascular Care, and Wound Care.

• Full Imaging, Laboratory Services, and Respiratory Therapy.

• 89-bed Extended Care Facility
