Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm

Location: Medical City Plano

Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides high quality diagnostic imaging.

  • Oversees daily shift operations and staff.

  • Interact effectively with all Imaging modalities to improve work flow, patient communications, and customer satisfaction.

  • Take appropriate measures to resolve customer issues and service recovery.

  • Maintains records and documentation.

  • Educates staff, patients and family.

  • Attendance and being on time, ready to work your scheduled hours is an essential job function.

  • Delivers customer focused care utilizing the Excellence Always Standards to include the transport of patients as necessary to facilitate optimal patient care/flow.

Qualifications


Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor Job Requirements:
  • Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology Program

  • ARRT, MRT, BCLS

  • 5 years staff technologist required; Multi-Modality experience preferred

Position Summary: Responsible for assisting all departments in the scanning of documents and uploading to the company database. Provides operational support working with other departments and cross-training to assist as needed. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. Responsibilities: * Responsible for handling the ordering of all Collateral files requested on a daily basis. * Reviews incoming documents; prepares documents for imaging and images files as requested. * Ensures scanning and filing of all documents in an organized manner. * Communicates with departments and coordinates scanning and rescanning on unreadable images. * Performs data entry as necessary to correctly index information. * Assists other departments as needed on all imaging needs. * Cross trains to understand and improve efficiencies. * Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works ethically and with integrity; upholds organizational values; accepts responsibility for own actions. * Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to EEO policy; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; educates others on the value of diversity; promotes working environment free of harassment of any type; builds a diverse workforce and supports affirmative action. * Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time; supports the company's goals and values. * Performs the position safely, without endangering the health or safety of themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions.
