POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist, MRI Diagnostic Assistants are responsible for duties necessary to assist the technical staff performing exams, therefore ensuring effective patient care. Functions will also include venipuncture, transporting patients, and assisting MRI technologist with clerical responsibilities (e.g. checking in patients, rescheduling, etc.). QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred. EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS: 2-5 years previous hospital experience and venipuncture preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S): Venipuncture or certification within 6 months of hire.
