The Diagnostic Assessor- Psychologist is a hybrid role intended to utilize a Psychologist's skill in Diagnostic Assessments. The role provides Diagnostic Assessments, and second opinions assessment to Catalight Care Services clients, utilizing diagnostic tools, intelligence measure, adaptive functioning measure and neuropsychological measures, in a manner that is consistent with clinical best practices for Catalight Care Services. The Diagnostic Assessor is integral in all aspects of diagnostic assessment including; preparing, administering, establishing DSM-5 diagnosis, writing summary and full diagnostic report to include in the client's medical record. As needed, the Assessor provides Diagnostic Intake Assessment.

JOB SUMMARY

The Diagnostic Assessor- Psychologist is a hybrid role intended to utilize a Psychologist's skill in Diagnostic Assessments. The role provides Diagnostic Assessments, and second opinions assessment to Catalight Care Services clients, utilizing diagnostic tools, intelligence measure, adaptive functioning measure and neuropsychological measures, in a manner that is consistent with clinical best practices for Catalight Care Services. The Diagnostic Assessor is integral in all aspects of diagnostic assessment including; preparing, administering, establishing DSM-5 diagnosis, writing summary and full diagnostic report to include in the client's medical record.  As needed, the Assessor provides Diagnostic Intake Assessment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Plan, organize, complete and submit diagnostic assessments within established timeline.

  • Ensure the quality of diagnostic assessments.

  • Communicate with client families about diagnostic results.

  • Communicate with funder/partners regarding results of diagnostic assessments.

  • Provide clinical report review and oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:

  • Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychiatrist, or Licensed Doctor of Education.

  • Minimum of 5 years' psychological assessment experience.

  • Experience with administrating ADOS-2, Mullen Scales of Early Learning, Vineland, and WISC-V required.

  • Experience with VB-MAPP, AFLS, DP-3, and DAS-II preferred.

  • Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and completing diagnostic reports.

  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills; frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.

  • Skilled at providing feedback and training on policies and procedures.

  • Comfortable presenting to large groups

  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). especially Excel and related computer software.

  • Proficient in Salesforce, Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence)

  • Experience working with data visualization/reporting software e.g., Tableau, Power BI etc.

  • Demonstrated experience in the development of effective processes and standard operating procedures.

  • Skilled in establishing & maintaining optimal communication channels with Providers.

  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience defining data and reporting requirements, analysis of data, and translating trends and outcomes into actionable recommendations.

  • Work in an exciting, fast paced high energy environment while effectively multitasking and managing day-to-day responsibilities without supervision.

  • Personable; able to work comfortably with individuals at all levels within the organization.

  • Must have a proficient understanding of Provider Network Operations, billing and claims processing, authorizations, and billing codes.

  • Must be highly detail oriented.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language in the workplace.

  • Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff, and others in the workplace continuously.

  • Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace.

  • Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication.

  • Frequent sitting.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.

  • Ability to travel to multiple work sites; reliable transportation needed.

  • Must have a valid Driver's License with insurance and maintain a clean driving record.

  • Must pass health screenings, obtain vaccinations and clear TB testing based on company policies.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing through funding source(s) if applicable.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

  • Maintain active psychologist licensure in the State of California.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Safety Care certification.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CAQH credential.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain NPI number.

  • Must attend all required training.
