What We're Looking For:

SuperCare Health is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Diabetes Field Sales Specialist to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of Strategic Accounts & Business Development, the Diabetes Field Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in building out the Diabetes Division, driving sales, and establishing strong relationships with healthcare providers, payors, manufacturers and other key Diabetes stakeholders in the assigned territory. The role of the Diabetes Outside Sales Specialist involves selling a comprehensive selection of Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs), Insulin Pumps, and related supplies. They conduct successful sales visits, focusing on specific target areas such as Endocrinology, Primary Care, and Internal Medicine. Collaborating with the Inside Sales team, they craft strategic sales strategies covering all potential referral channels within their designated area. Additionally, they cultivate connections with important clientele to boost sales of SuperCare Health's services.

The primary assigned territory is Greater Los Angeles (Los Angeles County). The Diabetes Field Sales Specialist will be expected to visit potential and existing relationships and targets within this territory. At times, the Diabetes Field Sales Specialist may be asked to service strategically important or large targets within neighboring Counties, such as Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County and San Diego County. The Diabetes Field Sales Specialist may also occasionally need to report to SuperCare Health locations in City of Industry (Corporate HQ) or San Diego branches (Diabetes HQ) on a periodic basis.

The Diabetes Field Sales Specialist may be asked to represent SuperCare Health at local, regional and national trade shows and diabetes exhibits to promote SuperCare Health's services to a board diabetes community.

What You'll Do:

  • The Diabetes Field Sales Specialist is an "Outside Sales" position which requires the candidate to be in the field a minimum of 4 days per week. SuperCare Health has a separate Inside Sales team within its Diabetes division. The Diabetes Field Sales Specialist and Inside Sales team will work closely together to maximize referral relationship opportunities and manage referral relationships as necessary. A bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Sales Development:

  • Execute the sales strategy developed by the VP of Strategic Accounts & Business Development to achieve and exceed sales targets for the Diabetes Division.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory to expand the customer base for diabetes care products and services.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals, payors, and key decision-makers.

  • Product Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Develop a deep understanding of SuperCare Health's diabetes care products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential customers.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to position SuperCare Health as a leader in diabetes care.

  • Customer Engagement:

  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals, clinics, and other potential customers.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Market Analysis:

  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to the Director of Sales

  • Diabetes Management.
  • Provide input on adjustments to the sales strategy based on market conditions and customer needs.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Customer Service, the Respiratory Sales division, and Operations, to ensure seamless order intake and delivery processes.

  • Communicate effectively with the VP of Strategic Accounts & Business Development, providing regular updates on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.

  • Training and Development:

  • Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on product features, industry regulations, and sales techniques.

  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members to contribute to the overall success of the Diabetes Division.

This role may be a fit if you have..

  • This position requires a minimum of 1 year prior experience as a Field Sales Rep or Specialist, specifically with Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and/or Insulin Pumps.

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.

  • Knowledge of diabetes care products, services, and the healthcare landscape is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
