JOB SUMMARY:

The DEXIS Production Manager is responsible for achieving site objectives in production & repair. The position is further responsible for driving improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and supporting Growth projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the overall Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity for assigned operations departments.

  • Formulate and implement departmental long-range projects and short-term objectives, to meet daily site metrics and growth initiatives.

  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement events, implementation, and sustainment activities for production and repair.

  • In conjunction with cross functional resources, develops optimum capacity, efficiency, and profitability through the upgrading and modernization of facilities and equipment and drives improvements in operational processes.

  • Partners with Materials & Inventory team to ensure accuracy consumption and transaction of inventory within assigned departments.

  • Forecast and plan for the optimum utilization of personnel. Ensure that areas are staffed with trained key personnel; develop supervisory personnel so that qualified successors are available for key positions within the organization.

  • Ensure all production & repair associates adhere to training and standard work requirements to meet compliance and productivity.

  • Oversee associate performance reviews, employee development, engagement, employee accountability and employee relations activities.

  • Assure department compliance with company directives on safety, quality, regulatory, and human-resource policies.

  • Participate and provide guidance in various company committees as representative for Operations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering field or equivalent experience with 10+ years relevant experience.
  • 5+ years in a production leadership role.
  • 5+ years frontline supervision experience with accountability for meeting production KPIs in a Lean Manufacturing Operations environment.
  • 5 + years' experience in implementing process improvements, talent development and employee engagement.
  • 5+ years supporting inventory & budgetary ownership.
  • 3 years in a Purchasing/materials related role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, viewing business from a general and high-level management standpoint.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a cross-functional and matrixed organization.

  • Strong communicator and team player with proficiency in change management initiatives.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment on immediate situations with cost, policy, and reputation ramifications.

  • Experience in medical device or similar FDA regulated industry

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
