Centauri is looking for a highly motivated DevSecOps Engineer located in Colorado Springs CO in support of the Air Force and the Space & Missile Systems Center (SMC) Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) Project Office. This is a fast-paced and highly challenging position where you will be a member of a team that designs and develops advanced software capabilities as well as designing necessary hardware infrastructure to support the project office in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment. The mission of EGS is to provide next generation services to Department of Defense space ground systems, with secondary objectives including the delivery of developer services, integration with legacy and associated mission systems including Enterprise Space BMC2, and development and operation of a Defensive Cyber Operations monitoring and response platform to defend these environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The DevOps Engineers will transition existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) Pipeline in current system integration lab virtual private cloud to the contractors administrative responsibility

The DevOps Engineers will work to understand the requirements that drive the design, provide input and recommendations into the design, and support the build, configuration, deployment, and initial sustainment of the system.
DevOps Engineers will develop, deliver, operate, and manage a government-owned DevSecOps /CI/CD tools pipeline supporting the development, integration, test, operations and sustainment activities of the EGS project with consideration placed on

Rapid, Secure, and Agile development environments consistent with industry best practice
Integration and automation of the programs security posture
Design, document, and implement towards the multi-enclave, multi-environment, and extendable PaaS solution

Provide automated deployment of the DevSecOps pipeline such that it may be
Repeatedly deployed and configured across multiple security enclaves or at remote locations as necessary
Integrated with specialty hardware (COMSEC, crypto, IRIG clock management, Front End Processors, modeling and simulation elements, etc.) and other architectural features in-the-loop into an automated testing framework
Extended as an on-demand Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution to allow third party integrators to build, test and validate their solutions within a uniform and isolated test environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

(All) Background in developing and releasing software products in public and/or private cloud environments
(All) Experience in various continuous development tools, such as Jenkins, Eggplant, Artifactory, Gradle, and GitHub,
(All) Familiarity with one or more automation/orchestration toolsets such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Puppet
(All) Comfortable with different programming and scripting languages, such as Python, JavaScript, C++, and Java.
(Some) Familiarity with a virtualized cloud environment (preferably VMWare/VSphere)
(Some) Familiarity with deploying, maintaining, and operating, and management development within a PaaS environment (OpenShift; Cloudfoundry)
(Some) Experience with software security, secure coding, or software assurance tools and techniques
(Some) Familiarity with the SIMP OS/deployment platform
(Desired) Experience integrating hardware elements into a DevOps pipeline
(Desired) Experience conducting development in government classified environments
