Sense Corp is seeking a brilliant, creative, fun, and skilled hands-on DevOps Team Manager who is experienced working with cross-functional teams. As part of our Public Sector division, you will collaborate with the team to ensure deployments meet our clients needs. The ideal candidate will be experienced leading DevOps teams that use Azure DevOps to create and manage build/release pipelines for multiple work streams.

Lead, mentor, and provide oversight to the DevOps team comprised of the Release Manager, Environment Manager, Build Manager and DevOps Engineer
Attention to detail with a focus on high-quality deliverables
Coordinate all deployment activities
Supervise application code branch management and merges
Manage development/test environments in support of multiple work streams
Guide and share technical expertise to increase maturity in DevOps, including movement towards CI/CD
Communicate with stakeholders across project teams
Support ongoing/continuous improvement to the overall DevOps process

Requirements

5+ years experience leading DevOps teams
Ability to create and maintain pipelines for continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD)
Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Artifacts, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Maven, npm, Tomcat, MuleSoft Mule ESB, Oracle databases, Red Hat Process Automation Manager, YAML, Unix platforms
Extensive experience with branch management, code merges and merge conflict resolution
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Experience on a team using Agile or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Desired Experience

Experience deploying Java Spring Boot/Angular applications in AWS and on-premise data centers
Scripting skills with Bash and/or PowerShell
Knowledge of Java Spring Boot, JavaScript, Angular, SQL
Monitoring experience with AppDynamics and Splunk
Prior public-sector consulting experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field

The Development Operations Group manage the entire Microsoft Azure Cloud environment for FINASTRA development and as such we'll rely on your experience to help us build out the automated, shining beacon of best-practice infrastructure that we need, and your role will be supported by the teams of top-notch developers, support engineers and the entire Finastra organization to deliver the best of breed products and services to our clients. What you'll need: As technologies move around us, we need a team of people who grow and adapt to new best practices.
