This position is in the DCE (Development and Cloud Enablement) Organization, centering on the Enterprise Pipeline and its Operational Support, across all applications in the Wells Fargo Enterprise. In this position, as an Application Systems Engineer 6, you will act as a lead in enterprise pipeline, including the onboarding, support, and analysis for all applications utilizing CICD and specifically using the Enterprise Pipeline (EPL). In addition, this position will be responsible for the ongoing operational support for all applications when they require updates, troubleshooting, and configuration. Also, this individual will ensure that all Wells Fargo applications on the enterprise pipeline are standardized, stable, and efficient in an effort to simplify and reduce the needed levels of support. Finally, this individual will produce documentation and perform training of both junior staff as well as our application development team clients, so to increase knowledge/education and promote self-diagnosis and self-service potential.

This position requires:

  • Senior level knowledge of the Enterprise Jenkins Pipeline
  • A superior ability to diagnose and resolve issues
  • A high level of client interaction ability (communication, support, advice, training, etc.)
  • Ability to educate junior staff and application development clients

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Understand the customer build, release and deploy automation needs and provide services that aligns with Enterprise DevOps standards and Wells Fargo vision and values.

  • Providing consultation to app team on Enterprise pipeline and benefits where ever applicable.

  • Analyze applications on-boarding/support requests and provide solution.

  • Developing the POCs to demonstrate the viability of new ideas and technologies to support the innovation.

  • Guide and outline ideas for migration of the application into cloud platform.

  • Develop and Provide build, release and deploy solution for legacy applications with customized pipeline instead of free style jobs.

  • Analyzing highly complex application build, release and deployment requirements and Write technical specifications to design or redesign build, release and deploy automation for the same.

  • Leading projects, allocating and managing the team's resources and the work of less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of DevOps experience
  • 3 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to manage source code repositories

  • 4+ years of uDeploy experience

  • 4+ years of Artifactory experience

  • 1+ years of experience with TFS

The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is leading the transformation in a multi-cloud technology landscape by developing and delivering innovative products that delight our customers and speed to market banking products to our customers. The Development and Cloud Enablement (DCE) team within CTO has a critical role in driving this transformation. We are looking for four (4) Senior Technology Strategiy Leaders with expertise in DevOps products to drive transformation of enterprise practices. As key technical leaders in crafting and delivering the DevSecOps and CI/CD Pipeline strategy for the enterprise, they are expected to define and implement an executable automation roadmap and product strategy for DevSecOps functionalities and practices, act as internal consultants to drive automation across the SDLC, and integrate with state of the art tooling and platforms. With full support from senior management, these are transformation driver roles which will directly impact how development will happen at Wells Fargo. In order to most effectively drive delivery of the DevSecOps and CI/CD Pipeline strategy, these roles will have the following defined product focus: * Two (2) of the roles will primarily focus on the portal strategy and backlog for the DevSecOps Portal product; this is a strategic tool which will replace multiple fragmented service tools into a single platform. * Two (2) of the roles will primarily focus on test automation, as well as regulatory controls automation into the CI/CD pipeline. Testing and regulatory controls automation are both key to delivery of the CI/CD product strategy. Key Responsibilities Include: * Apply subject matter expertise in DevOps and CI/CD engineering. * Define the product strategy, product requirements and management of the backlog, as well as authoring the acceptance criteria. Pipeline/backlog automation will include a UI portal and Metrics Dashboard capabilities of the enterprise pipeline. * Partner across various stakeholders like development teams, architecture, control owners and other cross-functional teams to deliver the product automation backlog. * Represent the Product Management team in daily standups, product meetings, design sessions, sprint planning, retrospective and other cross-functional meetings. * Convey thorough understanding of the product strategy as well as help in defining it. * Release prioritization and identification/mitigation of potential blockers and issues, as well as ensuring the delivery is aligned to the overall roadmap and product strategy. * Act as the product champion within the organization with clear in-depth technical understanding of all features, functionality, and industry trends. * Evaluate new products to get key outcomes where necessary, as well as re-evaluate new ways of using existing capabilities. * Create and manage a "Community Influencer" group to maintain high level of engagement with the consumers of the product. * Partner with technical writers and other communication leads to develop content for demos, trainings and other presentations. * Attend key industry conferences combined continuous research of the latest modern tools, technologies and trends. Preference is for selected candidate to work within a specific Wells Fargo location: New York-NY. Other locations may be considered include: Summit-NJ, Dallas-TX, Phoenix-AZ and San Francisco-CA.
