Job Description:
Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives.
Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing.
Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.: 10+ years application development and implementation experience.

VIEW JOBS 11/17/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-15T00:00 The Consumer Banking Sales and Support ("CBSS") Tool Risk Governance Coordinator (Coordinator) is a First Line of Defense (1LOD) role reporting through the Operational Risk team within the Business Line Chief Risk Office. The Coordinator will serve as a primary liaison between the CRO office, designated Tool Owners, and the Second Line of Defense (2LOD) Tool Risk Governance Group. The role is an individual contributor position reporting to an RCA Manager responsible for Tool and Model Risk oversight. The Coordinator will collaborate with Tool Owners within CBSS including: Home Mortgage, Servicing, Direct Lending, Dealer/Indirect Lending, Small Business, Lending/Lease Operations, ATM/Debit Card Services, Digital Banking, and Product Strategy. The Coordinator will help ensure proper inventory, classification, and governance oversight of tools used by the CBSS Business Line as defined within the Tool Risk Governance Policy and associated guidance. Further, the Coordinator will track and report on new issues, issue statuses, and the resolution and closure of issues identified during Tool Reviews. Responsibilities: Meet with the BL and Tool Owners periodically to ensure: * Tool Owners are assigned for Tools listed on the inventory * Tools are properly developed, risk rated, implemented, and used as intended * New potential or retired Tools are updated within the Tool Inventory * High risk tools (Tier 1A and Tier 1) are reported to the U.S. Bancorp Tool Risk Governance Group for inclusion or removal from the Tier 1 Tool Inventory; * Tools, where applicable, are assessed for applicability as a Model * Timely resolution and closure of any issues resulting from a Tool Review; * Required training of the Tool Risk Governance Program is completed; * A schedule of Tool Reviews is created and maintained so appropriate staff can conduct timely Tool Reviews; * New issues, issue statuses, and the resolution and closure of issues identified during Tool Reviews is tracked and reported. If necessary, escalate the timely resolution and closure of issues. * Record of Tool determinations, Tool risk ratings, and Tool Reviews are maintained and documented including rationale for items that were evaluated and determined to not meet the Policy definition for Tools. * Required training of the Tool Risk Governance Program (this includes GLL training) is completed and to exercise authority to request BL employees to complete required training of the Tool Risk Governance Program. * Support for ad hoc Corporate TRG BL requests is provided * The master CBSS TRG Procedure is updated and reviewed as needed * The CBSS TRG SharePoint site is maintained and updated. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience * Seven to ten years of experience in an applicable risk management environment Preferred Skills/Experience * Process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills. * Must possess business acumen and credibility to help the CBSS business line proactively identify and address changing workforce needs. * Foundational knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business * Basic data reporting and analysis capabilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications * Applicable professional certifications * Thorough understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls * Experience with the Archer eGRC tool/application a plus US Bank Charlotte NC
