Raytheon is seeking a talented and passionate Information Assurance Lead to join our DevOps Transformation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our team and programs in their journey to adopt DevOps and Agile methodologies as a new way of working. As the Information Assurance lead, you will lead the DevOps team in providing customers and programs with broad spectrum Cyber capabilities, to include Certification and Accreditation (C&A) support for DoD systems, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance testing, Cyber Vulnerability Assessments, penetration testing, test data reduction, risk analysis and assessments, and provide fix actions or mitigation rational to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and provide oversight ensuring integration of security requirements in accordance with agency certification and accreditation processes, and technical security engineering required are achieved to support program requirements.

  • Develop deliverables documenting the planning, policy, interfaces, and architecture of technical security services.

  • Scope, arrange and support security testing, including penetration testing.

  • Apply full range of Information Assurance (IA) policies, principals and techniques to maintain security integrity of information systems processing classified information.

  • Lead DevOps teams and programs in ensuring critical that processes are completed such as; the monitoring of vulnerabilities in dependencies, monitoring of logs, conducting vulnerability checks, deploy and manage web application firewalls.

  • Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program.

  • Perform threat modeling exercises.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship required.

  • Technical understanding of software and web applications security and vulnerabilities to review vulnerability reports and communicate effectively

  • Hands-on experience automating the system hardening.

  • Hands-on experience with JIRA.

  • Familiarity with a variety of penetration testing tools and methodologies

  • Cybersecurity engineering experience including: Security administration, Firewall rule management, Patch management, Security scans, Scripting experience specifically Powershell

  • Hands-on experience implementing secure cloud-based solutions, preferably in AWS; implementing network and security within cloud-based environments.

  • Proven experience in DevOps and virtualized environments

  • Demonstrated experience with security engineering policies and procedures supporting ICD 503 accreditation and NIST 800-53, CNSS 1253 implementation; Assessment & Authorizations

  • Experience with Network and Application Layer Firewall Technology

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to serve as central coordination point.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Very strong organizational and teaming skills

  • 8 years related work experience

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with using Bash/Shell to produce hardening scripts and workable knowledge of system scan analysis tools such as SCAP and ACAS to identify system vulnerabilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • 8+ Years of experience with a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • Professional certification, commensurate with experience and compliant with DOD 8570.

This position holds both the leadership and management roles in a PMO. As an arm of the overall IT governance function, the PMO Director is responsible for supporting and enabling the organization's projects, programs, vendors and structured work efforts. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise 5 to 7 direct reports including Program Managers, Project Managers, QA Manager and Demand/Capacity/Resource Planning manager .
