Applied Pathways, an AIM/Anthem company, develops clinical decision support software applications for the healthcare markets. We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our team based in Schaumburg, IL,

DevOps Engineering support tasks, leading to delivery and automation of application systems which meet the requirements of business stakeholders. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Define, design,develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment processes and tools( i.e. installer, virtual machine or container) for hosted and self hosted customers. Apply innovative and proactive approaches to improve the server provisioning and deployment processes. Leads and coordinates DevOps Engineering for development and deployment of the full platform. Collect and document system and operational characteristics of the platform services. Develop and execute tests including load, stress, endurance, fail-over and interoperability. Analyze performance results of deployed platforms to assist the development and quality assurance teams. Identify, report, and review defects in assessing platform deployment and stability. Monitor and maintain deployed production systems. Develop system tuning recommendations for hosted and self hosted environments. Leads peer reviews to ensure the completeness of all automated processes created. Understand and follow all applicable SDLC and DevOps engineering processes. Resolve performance and stability issues in deployed platform environment activities.

  • Log file aggregation tools (willing to train)

Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; minimum 5 years; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Demonstrated ability to perform and manage performance engineering
