Team

Project Franklin's engineers are forward thinking and collaborative in nature. We are looking for team members with strong skills in their fields and an ability to turn on a dime to support the fast-paced nature of our business.

What You'll Do

  • Work with our engineering team to design and support our cloud-based service infrastructure

  • Manage our source control system

  • Improve and maintain our CI/CD system

  • Deploy test automation frameworks

  • Monitor environments to identify inefficiencies in code and processes

  • Learn and apply new technologies and frameworks

  • Work with engineering team to develop secure communication between connected devices

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree or equivalent professional experience

  • 5+ years' experience designing, building, and supporting large scale systems

  • Administrative experience with cloud server environments such as Azure or containerization tools such is Kubernetes

  • Experience with configuration management tools such as vault and consul

  • Experience with programming languages

  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting high availability services

Bonus qualifications:

  • Experience with configuration management tools such as vault and consul

  • Experience with containerization tools such as Terraform, Packer, Kubeadm, and Docker

  • Experience with bash, Golang or javascript

  • Experience with CI such as Drone-ci, Jenkins

  • Extensive knowledge of software deployment, including blue-green and rolling

  • Experience with database solutions, including relational and Big Data, Hadoop or Spark

Operations Team We are looking for an entrepreneurial, passionate Operations Director to join Project Franklin's Operations team. As a leader on the team, you'll play a central role in the launch of our first market. This launch will bring new, cutting edge technology to market before we quickly scale to more of Walmart's expansive stores network.
