SUMMARY

ANSYS, Inc. seeks DevOps Engineer II to work in Canonsburg, PA and various unanticipated locations

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all DevOps activities, including the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and verification of product builds and packaging to provide quality production builds.

• Understand and employ best practices.

• Work closely with development to adjust builds and packaging to changing product requirements.

• Anticipate future needs and technology evolution and propose and participate in implementation of new solutions.

• Work under the general supervision of a DevOps manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.

• Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in a related position.

• Work experience or academic coursework must have included:

• Experience with Windows and Linux installation tools including InstallShield; Experience with source code version tools including git;

• Experience with automated continuous integration software including Azure DevOps;

• Experience with Python, Perl or other scripting language;

• Experience with object-oriented language C++; and

• Experience automating tasks and procedures

• Additional work location information: Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the US.
