Vaco has a full time role in North Houston, TX for a DevOps Engineer. Qualified candidates must have the following to be considered:

Must Haves:

5 years Software Development and 1-2 year DevOps

Experience with Jenkins and GIT

Experience with Dev Ops practices (continuous integration, continuous delivery, APM and configuration management).

Experience with standard web servers (IIS, Apache)

Experience with Microsoft development technologies, particularly PowerShell/Shell scripting, .NET Framework, C# and Visual Studio Team System.

OS Windows or Linux - (preferred Windows)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under limited supervision and much decision-making:

Executes assigned components of Insperity's continuous delivery automation platform.

Participates and provides feedback on selection of DevOps tools.

Delivers technical solutions to evolving change control and release management requirements through implementation and roll out of best of breed DevOps tools.

Considers consistency and process ease while effectively configuring DevOps tools for application development, quality assurance and operations teams.

Executes DevOps Engineering roadmap according to industry best practices.

Collaborates with other groups as necessary to gather input for any DevOps considerations.

Participates in efforts for disaster recovery, capacity expansion, component upgrading, and system hardening.

Analyzes plans, processes, policies and tools to identify and make recommendations for improvement.

Summary: Successful candidate's will initiate one on one dialog with potential referral sources and maintain positive relationships with current referral sources. They will design, develop and drive cutting edge sales strategies designed to increase patient/resident admissions that leverage Kindred's core competence in the area of rehabilitating medically complex patients/residents. The successful candidate will leverage their clinical/sales expertise to sell Kindred's "Continuum of Care" model to prospective referral sources aiding in the patient/resident admissions/referral process. This process begins with identifying new prospects, educating them on Kindred's business model and clearly establishing how Kindred is able to differentiate themselves from their competition. Through the building of long term relationships with these referring facilities and physicians, the successful candidate will facilitate the identification and assessment of future patient/resident admissions factoring in length of stay, and level of acuity which should align with the outcomes expected from Kindred's clinical expertise in rehabilitation and nursing. The candidate can expect to spend most of their time (80% or more) in the field, making presentations, assessing patients/residents and building these long term relationships. Our ideal candidate will have a college degree in and clinical licensure in addition to having prior full life cycle sales experience within the healthcare industry. Education: College degree required. Either an Associate's degree with clinical licensure or Bachelor's degree without clinical licensure. Licenses/Certification: Valid driver's license. Clinical Licensure's Required: RN, PT, OT, SLP, RT, or LCSW Experience: Two years of former marketing/sales experience. Formal Sales Training. Experience: 2 years demonstrated full life cycle sales experience (B2B and/or DTC) from lead generation, educating the client, persistent follow up and follow through on all leads, issues and success stories. Strong preference given to candidates who have previously operating in the sales function of a medical device, institutional pharmaceutical or healthcare setting company. Consideration will be given to those with prior Durable Medical Equipment and / or Home Health and /or Hospice. Previously demonstrated experience working in a clinical setting where they were directly involved with patient diagnosis and/or assessing acuity for complex patients/residents.
