Partner with internal Epsilon delivery teams for AWS and internal platform operations to configure, deploy, and automate infrastructure and application processes in support of client solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage AWS cloud based and traditional infrastructure solutions as well as custom applications through automated scripts

  • Create, maintain and implement configuration management

  • Automate and run Build and Deploy processes

  • Troubleshoot and fix automation and configuration issues

  • This position will also coordinate with a broad range of internal stakeholders, including; development teams, architects, and QA Teams.

  • Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.


Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science
  • 3 years of experience using Linux/Microsoft technology with experience in Automation/ Deployment

Job Requirements

  • Automation execution with tools Jenkins and Chef as well as general scripting.

  • CI/CD setup and configuration across various technology verticals.

  • Configuration of databases, such as MsSQL/Oracle and NoSQL/Mongo to support various activities related to the system.

  • Configuration and management of Web Hosting cores such as IIS/Apache/nginx.

  • Working knowledge of web application architectures and ability to communicate them.

  • Document the environment details, Deployment Diagrams, and network topologies.

  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues.

  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships

Preferred qualifications

  • AWS or cloud knowledge and experience

  • AWS Instance Creation (EC2), Configuration, and Maintenance.

  • Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) setup and maintenance.

  • Experience in AWS Security Groups, Routing Tables, Subnets, EBS, Cloud Front, S3, IAM Roles and Policies, Cloud Watch, SNS, SQS, Elastic Load Balancers, SSL Certs, and Auto Scaling Groups.

  • Implement Customer Gateways and integrate with AWS cloud.

  • Automating AWS tasks using AWS tools, SDKs, cloud formation scripts, command line tools.

  • Experience in scoping and managing disaster recovery preparedness with multi-zone and/or multi-region options.

  • Experience in scoping and managing Infrastructure and Application monitoring across production and non-production platforms.

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Servers or Linux Systems.

  • Experience with automation tools Jenkins or Chef, as well as general scripting.

  • Experience with configuring databases, such as MsSQL/Oracle and NoSQL/Mongo to support various activities related to the system

  • Experience with Web Hosting cores such as IIS/Apache/nginx.
