Job Description

This position is for a Device Engineer working on the next generation nonvolatile memory based FPGA cell.

Responsibilities include test-chip development, single cell and array characterization and analysis. The candidate is also involved in characterizing next generation FinFet transistor design rules and reliability, SPICE modeling and interconnect modeling.

VIEW JOBS 10/18/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-16T00:00 Hands-on technology experience with foundry provided processes and flows, including onboarding of verification flows such as LVS, DRC, NETERC, EMIR, etc. Expertise in fundamental integrated circuit devices and device physics Expertise in transistor simulation concepts and practical application Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal required Participation in all aspects of "onboarding" a foundry provided IP such as Standard cell libraries, IO blocks, SRAM compilers, etc. a plus. Hands-on experience in creating and delivering presentations. Training materials a plus. BSEE or equivalent with an emphasis on semiconductor device physics or circuit design. MSEE preferred, PhD a plus. Accountabilities: The candidate should have background to perform QA of MDK/PDK flows for process technologies provided by a foundry. This includes, but is not limited to: Creation, evaluation, and running of test cases for DRC, DFM, LVS, ERC, Latchup, ESD, NETERC, etc. tools and flows. Technical capability to create and deliver technical training presentations to the greater technical Lattice community on the use of above processes and technologies.
