Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Device Quality Engineer at our iNNOVATION Institute in Neenah, WI. This is a multi-faceted position specializing in device product lines for our Consumer Products Professional Business. We are seeking a self-starter and solutions-minded individual with a passion and experience for continuous quality improvement.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Managing all aspects of field quality for mechanical and electromechanical devices
Working with multi business facets to assess the root cause and implement solutions for device field quality issues
Implementing solutions with engineering and suppliers
Monitoring device quality field data and address non-conformances
Engaging with the device complaint team/customer service to identify and address any systemic device quality issues
Possessing solid and effective written and verbal communication skills
Working and collaborating on cross-functional teams co-located in different locations
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an engineering discipline
Three (3) or more years' experience working in a quality role
Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time including occasional international travel
Willing and able to lift up to 20 pounds
Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office suite
What Will Put You Ahead?
Seven (7) or more years' experience working in a quality role
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
Management of Six Sigma methods
Knowledge of quality methods & procedures including Statistical Process Control, Total Quality
Experience working in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
Experience working with small mechanical and electromechanical products
Experience managing external supplier quality
Experience working with Coordinate Measurement (CMM) Equipment
