The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC) is located in the Southwestern Alaska town of Bethel, with a total of approximately 6,000 people. YKHC supports 1500 employees, providing the health services to a primarily Yup'ik Eskimo Native population for an area the size of Oregon. Services are provided through a Bethel located hospital and 50 clinics throughout the YK Delta.

Position Summary: This position provides early intervention services to families of eligible children age 0-3 in the YK Delta. This position assists in evaluation, reporting and interventions for infants and toddlers in the region. This position administers eligibility testing, developmental assessments, report writing, development and implementation of the IFSP, and all transition services under the supervision of a DS III. This position organizes family contact, family follow up, play groups, other service involvement such as school special education teachers and Head Start educators. This position is a member of the ILP team and provides value added ideas, quality control, service excellence, and ILP standard excellence. Village travel is required.
Position

Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education with licensure, enrolled in a Masters degree program in Early Childhood Special Education with 6 Child development credits completed and 3 units in Child assessment completed.
Minimum Experience: 1 years of experience working in a field of Early childhood or preschool activity, teaching birth to three. Knowledge of typical and non typical child development. Home visiting experience preferred. Experience with Special Needs children highly desired.
Licensing/Certification: Type A certification or applicable license. Infant CPR. Membership in professional organizations encouraged. Meet criteria for registration as SEED level 9. Eligible for an NPI number and able to bill Medicaid for TCM.
Equipment/Tools: SEED screening tool. ASQ. ASQ-SE, ELAP, HELP or other evaluation tools as appropriate.
Specialized Knowledge and

Skills:
Training in Neuro developmental treatment, Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavioral Supports, Language Instruction, specialized strategies and trainings, leading play groups. Training in Infant Mental Health and Trauma based care desired.
Supervisory

Responsibilities:
May supervise a Developmental Specialist I.

VIEW JOBS 11/9/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-07T00:00 Job Description Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS) control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion. The incumbent is responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious movement of air traffic through the nation's airspace. ATCS duties include: * Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft. * Issuing landing/takeoff instructions. * Issuing information such as runway to use, wind velocity and direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and pertinent data on other aircraft operating in vicinity. * Issuing air traffic clearances. * Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather - Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources. * Taking and disseminating weather observations at Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) or Supplemental Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) facilities. * Transferring control of aircraft to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace, and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace. * Operating various types of equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment. * Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties. * Coordinating with and issuing instructions to airport vehicles and personnel. * Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations * Other duties as assigned The rate of pay for this position is $30.88 per hour. AK - 48% COLA per hour, 40 hours per week, based on DOL wage rate plus relocation allowance after certification. Required Skills Prior to being considered for this position, applicant must:1.
